This part-time contract opportunity focuses on delivering exceptional care and rehabilitation services to a diverse student population for the 2026-2027 academic year. Work closely with fellow educators and clinicians to help students reach their full potential, whether on-site or through possible virtual assignments.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
- Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy is highly valued.
- PTA candidates welcome if supervision by a licensed PT is provided.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for students of varying developmental abilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans in accordance with student needs and IEP goals.
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate physical therapy sessions, either in-person or potential teletherapy, as determined by the school’s requirements.
- Document progress clearly and maintain thorough records for compliance and student tracking.
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate therapeutic goals within classroom activities.
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as needed.
