Responsibilities Title: Occupational Therapist Location/work environment: In facility Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab As an Occupational Therapist, you help patients get well. You assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy. You are a healer and a helper, adept at addressing the whole patient and treating them as an individual. Your goal is to design programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence. You adapt to patient needs, enjoy variety in work and settings, collaborate with peers, and refer patients for additional care when needed. You also train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards. Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license in the state of practice.
