Job Description
Registered Nurse - OB Case Manager

Schedule

Monday to Friday, day shift.

Assignment Details

Start date will be no less than 5 weeks after required documentation is processed.

Requirements

• Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or another U.S. state.
• Minimum of 2 years of OB Case Management experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Case Management certification preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to provide a safe environment and follow infection control policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Provide patient and family education related to care, medications, and discharge needs.
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.
• Participate in quality and performance improvement activities.
• Support orientation, mentoring, and education of staff and peers.
