School RN

School RN provides nursing assessments, care plans, and emergency response for students in a school setting. The role supports student health and safety, administers medications, maintains records, and participates in health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess student health and develop individualized care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and administer medications during school hours.
• Coordinate with school staff and parents to ensure student health and safety.
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with FERPA and HIPAA.
• Participate in school health initiatives and conduct health screenings.

Qualifications:

• Professional Educator License with School Support Personnel endorsement in school nursing (PEL-CSN).
• PEL-SN and RN certification.
• Minimum 1 year of school nursing experience.
• Ability to handle varied school assignments and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work days and physical ability to support children.
• Background check clearance.
