Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

St. Peter’s Health Partners is seeking a full time inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our behavioral health team at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY, with a primary focus on the MICA (Mentally Ill Chemically Addicted) unit and additional coverage of the geriatric unit as needed. Position Details: Provide inpatient psychiatric care primarily on a 14-bed MICA (addiction) unit with occasional geriatric unit coverage Work within a collaborative model supported by 1 Psychiatrist and 0.5 Nurse Practitioner Average patient volume: 8–9 patients per provider Work closely with addiction specialists, therapists, and case managers Call Rotation: 1:6 weekends Opportunity Highlights: Join a well established, mission driven inpatient behavioral health service Opportunity to specialize in geriatric and addiction psychiatry Exposure to complex and diverse behavioral health cases Supportive leadership and well coordinated care across the behavioral health continuum Qualifications: Board Certification required Current NY State license Open to new graduates Strong clinical and communication skills Commitment to team oriented, patient focused care RECRUITMENT PACKAGE: St. Peter’s Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes: Compensation is between $145,459 and $162,914 commensurate with experience The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer.
