About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Quality & R&D for its operations in Belgium and the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be the key figure in all quality-related matters, including the development of new products, adjustment of existing formulas, and the management of quality control processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the organization maintains a strong quality culture, meets all necessary quality certifications, and is at the forefront of innovation and sustainability. The Head of Quality & R&D will also be responsible for leading a team, maintaining relationships with external partners, and playing a central role in R&D project planning and implementation. Applicants for the Head of Quality & R&D position must have a higher degree in a field related to chemistry or construction, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar leadership role. Cement- and concrete-technical knowledge is essential. The role requires a strategic, analytical, and innovative thinker with excellent project management skills and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, a team player, and proficient in problem-solving. Proficiency in Dutch and English is required, with knowledge of French being a plus, and the flexibility to travel between the various sites is necessary.
