Customer Service & Claims Agent (Automotive)
Location: On-site – Irvine, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday + rotating Saturday (1x every 2 months)
Industry: Automotive / Vehicle Service Contracts
OverviewWe are seeking a Customer Service & Claims Agent with strong automotive knowledge to support customers and dealer partners with vehicle service contract (VSC) claims, account inquiries, and issue resolution . This role requires a balance of customer service excellence, technical automotive understanding, and efficient claims processing in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities- Handle 35+ inbound calls daily , assisting customers and dealers with claims, coverage questions, and account inquiries
- Review and process vehicle service contract (VSC) claims , ensuring accuracy and policy compliance
- Investigate and resolve complex, high-value claims involving repairs and maintenance
- Communicate with dealerships, repair facilities, and inspection companies to determine coverage eligibility
- Accurately document interactions and update systems in real time
- Process correspondence and contract cancellations in a timely manner
- Interpret coverage, exclusions, policies, and procedures for customers and partners
- Collaborate cross-functionally and support rotating team assignments
- 2–5+ years of customer service, claims processing, or call center experience
- Strong data entry, multitasking, and computer navigation skills
- Ability to handle high call volume with professionalism and efficiency
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail
- Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions
- Comfortable working across multiple systems and applications
- Experience in automotive, dealership, or vehicle service contract environments
- Knowledge of automotive repairs, diagnostics, and warranty claims
- ASE Certification or Automotive Technology background (highly preferred)
- Experience working with dealers, repair facilities, or claims adjudication
- Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel) and internal systems (CRM/mainframe)
- Prior leadership or mentoring experience is a plus

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.67 - $29.67/hr.
