Head of Marketing

We're looking for our first Head of Marketing to build Xident's brand and drive demand. You'll own positioning, content, SEO, and paid acquisition — establishing us as the leader in privacy-first identity verification for the "Verify Once" era.

Xident is building the future of digital identity verification. Our platform enables businesses to verify users' ages and identities in seconds, while respecting privacy through our unique "Verify Once, Access Everywhere" model.

Founded in 2023, we've already processed over 10M+ verifications processed and serve 500+ businesses. We're a remote-first company with team members across 12 countries.

What You'll Do

• Define brand positioning and messaging around our "Verify Once, Access Everywhere" value proposition
• Build and execute content marketing, SEO, and developer-focused thought leadership
• Launch and optimize paid acquisition channels targeting B2B decision-makers in regulated industries
• Create sales enablement materials and competitive intelligence against legacy KYC providers
• Manage marketing budget and report on ROI across channels
• Build the marketing team as we scale from content to demand generation

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of B2B marketing experience with 3+ years in leadership
• Track record of building marketing at early-stage startups from zero
• Experience marketing developer tools, API products, or compliance solutions
• Strong content creation and storytelling abilities
• Data-driven approach with proficiency in marketing analytics
• Hands‑on executor who can build before hiring a team

Nice to Have

• Background in identity, security, or compliance marketing
• Experience with developer marketing and product‑led growth strategies
• Understanding of regulated industries (gaming, adult content, alcohol, fintech)

Our Hiring Process

3. Technical Assessment

   1-2 hours

   Role‑specific assessment—this might be a coding challenge, portfolio review, case study, or technical discussion depending on the position.

4. Team Interviews

   2-3 hours

   Meet with 3-4 team members including your potential manager and cross‑functional partners. We assess technical skills, collaboration, and culture fit.

5. Final Interview

   45 minutes

   A conversation with a company leader to discuss your career goals, our vision, and ensure mutual fit. This is also your chance to ask strategic questions.

6. Offer

   24-48 hours

   If it's a match, we move quickly. Expect a competitive offer within 48 hours of your final interview, with clear details on compensation and equity.
