Locum OB Hospitalist - Iron Mountain, Michigan Availability Position Type: Locum Tenens Urgent Need: Immediate call coverage needed Coverage Needed: 7-10 days per month Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours plus beeper call Call Response Time: Within 15 minutes Priority Coverage Dates August 13-15 (Urgent) September 6-9 September 13-20 September 27 - October 5 November 23-29 December 21-27 Location Iron Mountain, Michigan Licensure Requirements Active Michigan Medical License (or ability to obtain) Board Certification Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology Required Certifications BLS Practice Highlights Combination of clinic and inpatient OB call coverage Providers willing to see a limited number of prenatal clinic patients during weekday call are preferred Laborist/call-only providers with no clinic or outpatient commitment will also be considered Admissions required Assigned and unassigned patient rounding Trauma Level IV facility Patient Volume Approximately 12 clinic patients per shift Average 1-2 hospital patients per shift Approximately 319 deliveries annually 10-bed OB department Ideal Candidate OB/GYN comfortable with labor and delivery call coverage Flexible providers able to assist with urgent scheduling needs Laborist-only physicians encouraged to apply Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
