Host/Hostess/Carry Out Window

Host/Hostess
Looking to fill the Host/Hostess position, but this job is more than seating guests at a table. The position includes but is not limited to:
- Setting up the dining room and arranging tables spaced correctly to gain the maximum number of guests during one seating.
- Handling and expediting reservations and table allocations.
- Answering phones, taking to-go orders answering questions about the menu, and food allergies but not limited to.
- Coordinating dining room service by spacing out reservations correctly as well as handling walk-in dining service and coordinating the servers' tables by ensuring an immaculate guest experience while managing activities of the servers and/or the bus persons for clean tables.
- Working closely with chefs to act as a liaison between the guest and the kitchen.
- Must be able to work at our busiest days and times, weekends and holidays are required. Summer is the busiest season.
- Must be organized, multitasking skills, self-starter skills, be able to manage a busy wait list and be able to move reservations around to accommodate walk-ins and reservations.
- Must have experience working in a restaurant or hotel setting.
