Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Pediatrics

Location: Rochester, NY 14621
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day | 5×8 Hours | 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8, 10, or combination of 8 & 12-hour shifts
Saturday: Rotating | 8:00 AM–1:00 PM, based on location
Specialty: Pediatrics
Floating: Required to other Pediatrics locations
Local Candidates: Accepted – within 75 miles at a lower rate
Traveler Candidates: Accepted

Pay Rate: $30–$34/hr

Required Qualifications:

• Active New York LPN License

• Minimum 1 year of Pediatrics experience

• BLS Certification required

• EPIC experience required

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Flexibility and punctuality

• First-time travelers accepted

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents

• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as ordered

• Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures

• Monitor and document patient care using EPIC

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and medications

• Float to other pediatric clinic locations as needed

• Maintain accurate patient documentation

• Collaborate with providers and the healthcare team
