Step into a dynamic educational environment supporting K-8 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact—whether you prefer a part-time schedule (2-3 days per week) or full-time involvement (5 days weekly), with immediate start available. Essential Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Knowledge of assessment, intervention, and therapy for school-aged children
- Ability to tailor communication strategies for diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and individualized therapy for students K-8
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and implement IEPs
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Provide consultative support to staff regarding communication disorders and best practices
- Assist in creating positive and inclusive classroom environments to foster student success
