Location Decatur, TX – Retail shop Overview Airgas is hiring a Retail Counter Sales/Back Up Driver in Decatur, TX. The role blends driving expertise with customer service, supporting sales and delivery of gases and welding products. Responsibilities Build relationships with customers as first point of contact, both in-store and by phone. Engage in inside sales, provide quotes, and help customers assess their needs. Process sales in our system and organize merchandise on shelves to ensure smooth store operations. Act as a reliable backup driver, safely delivering gases and welding products when regular drivers are unavailable. Required Qualifications Valid Texas Commercial Driver’s License with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements. At least one year of Class A or B professional driving experience within the last five years, with a clean driving record (up to two convictions or at‑fault accidents as specified). Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and move more than 125 pounds with equipment. Preferred Qualifications Experience navigating the SAP sales platform. Excellent customer service skills.
