Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is hiring for Order Selectors for our client in the Conklin, NY area. This position is responsible for assembling customer orders using pallet jack equipment while following all company safety standards, policies, and procedures. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-use inspections on pallet jack equipment.
• Assemble and pick customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Mark materials with identifying information as needed.
• Open boxes and containers when necessary.
• Verify correct product selection, lot numbers, and product codes.
• Record inventory and material amounts using site-specific equipment.
• Arrange stock and materials in proper order for assembly.
• Communicate damaged products or inventory issues to Supervisors or Leads.
• Operate additional machinery and material handling equipment as needed.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional weekends.
• Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels.
• Previous warehouse or pallet jack experience preferred but not required.
