divh2Warehouse Picker And Packer/h2pUnder general supervision, is responsible for picking, packing and shipping of all inbound and outbound shipments along with the duties associated with shipment preparation. The incumbent prepares bills of lading for freight carriers, assists in loading trucks and obtains signatures on shipments. Responsible for counting recording material to ensure accuracy of shipment and receipt; performs related duties as required./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliAssemble orders and prepare goods for shipment/liliRecord shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability/liliAssists in the handling of materials and items from receiving area to designated bin locations/liliFacilitates outbound shipments using proper packing methods and 3rd party delivery services/liliFulfills orders that are ready for shipment via will call, delivery or install/liliReceive and unpack materials and supplies/liliReport damages and discrepancies to request reimbursement or re-shipment/liliMaintain logs of all shipments outgoing and incoming/liliFills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes accordingly/liliAllocates product to appropriate rack, shelf or bin location according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, brand or product code/liliPrepare monthly production and volume reports in order to measure productivity and prepare billing charges/li/ulpMay possibly perform any of the following functions at the direction of management:/pulliHandle hazardous materials/liliEffectively maneuvers through computer system in order to perform specified duties/liliAssists with execution of weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory integrity/liliUnpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages/liliPosts weights and shipping charges and affixes postage/liliMarks materials with identifying information/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliHigh school Diploma or equivalent/liliMinimum 1 year of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or production experience/liliExperienced operating power tool equipment including but not limited to cherry picker, reach truck, pallet jack, etc./liliPrevious experience with material handling is required/liliWorking knowledge of scanning equipment, internal database tracking system, dollies and carts/liliBasic computer skills/liliExcellent customer service, professional attitude and appearance are a must/liliAbility to work overtime meet deadlines/li/ulpPhysical activity required including bending, reaching, lifting and prolonged periods of sitting or standing/ppMay lift and/or move up to 50 lbs./ppExperience operating power tool equipment/ppIf required to operate a forklift, must be forklift certified and be able to use hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work/ppCompetitive pay benefits!/ppComprehensive training and development programs that prepare employees to advance from within./ppA company focused on creating a positive work and client environment./ppEmployee discounts on entertainment, products, and services nationwide!/ppCome join our team!/p/div
