Maintenance Millwright

MillwrightMillwright a member of our Maintenance Department responsible for providing mechanical maintenance support for plant facilities and equipment. This will be a 2nd or 3rd shift position. Competitive wages based on experience. Additional paid relief days, $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS, this position is eligible for other incentives.Duties/Responsibilities:Installing, repairing and maintaining industrial buildings and machineryReading/interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketchesPossibly fabricating parts and assembliesWelding, brazing and cutting, shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, oxy-fuelGeneral plant maintenancePerform department duties as neededRequired Skills/Abilities:Basic math skillsAttention to detailBasic problem solving and troubleshooting skillsMust be able to work any shiftNo prior plant experience required - Company paid apprenticeship program availablePhysical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:Must be capable of lifting and handling 50 lbsWill be exposed to seasonal temperature changesManufacturing environment with heat, noise, dust, and vibrationEducation/Experience:High School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious mechanical or construction experience a plusWelding skills a plusPrevious millwright apprenticeship program preferredBenefits:Eligible after 30 days; medical/prescription drug coverage, dental, vision insurances, company provided Basic Life and AD&D insurance, additional voluntary benefits including hospital indemnity, accident and critical illness insurance, paid holidays.Eligible at 60 days (520 working hours): Participation in the production incentive pay program (potential to add $1-$2 per hour to base pay, based on production)Eligible after 90 days; paid relief days, Paid Time Off (PTO), Vacation, employee referral program, company paid safety shoes and prescription safety glasses.Eligible after 6 months; 401K programSuperior Forge & Steel Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
