Get to Know Your Team: * UT Health Jacksonville features 33 operational beds, an ICU, a 24-hour ED designated as a Level IV trauma center and acute stroke ready facility, a maternity unit, advanced diagnostic technology, surgical suites, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, a wound healing center, and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness and rehabilitation facility. Responsibilities * Administers care to a patient population ranging from newborn to geriatric and utilizes a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to ensure that each patient receives nursing care appropriate to his/her illness or injury. * Prioritizes patient care need based on the patient assessment and uses the nursing process to implement a plan of care appropriate to each patient's needs. * Delivers care consistent with physician's orders and treatment protocols and in accordance with hospital and departmental policy.
