About the Role:

The Warehouse Associate - Bilingual English & Spanish will be responsible for coordinating the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, optimizing delivery schedules, and managing inventory levels. The Warehouse Associate will communicate effectively with both English and Spanish-speaking team members and clients, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned. By utilizing strong organizational skills and attention to detail, the dispatcher will contribute to minimizing delays and maximizing efficiency in our supply chain. Ultimately, this role is vital for maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence within the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload materials from incoming and outgoing trucks.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
• Move materials and products throughout the warehouse using proper lifting techniques.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, drivers, and other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Occasionally aid drivers with deliveries
• Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and management to facilitate smooth operations.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures as well as to ensure compliance with company quality standards and operational procedures.
• Additional related tasks may be assigned as needed.

Physical and Safety Requirements:

• Must have physical strength and stamina to lift, carry, and move heavy materials (up to 50 lb.) consistently throughout the shift.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environments with varying temperatures, including hot, cold, and humid conditions.
• Ability to climb ladders or step stools and work at heights when necessary.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling materials and/or operating warehouse equipment.
• Ability to maintain sufficient visual acuity, with or without reasonable accommodation, to safely navigate the warehouse, identify hazards, read labels and signage, monitor equipment operation, and perform job duties safely and accurately.
• Ability to maintain sufficient hearing ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors, hear safety warnings, alarms, vehicle horns, equipment signals, and other auditory cues necessary to maintain a safe working environment.
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and steel-toe boots.
• Strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols always.
• Competent in safely operating warehouse machinery.
• Must report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Organizational skills are utilized daily to manage multiple tasks, prioritize shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records. Attention to detail is critical in this role, as it helps prevent errors in shipping and receiving processes. Problem-solving skills come into play when addressing logistical challenges or delays, allowing the dispatcher to find effective solutions quickly. Additionally, familiarity with warehouse management enhances efficiency.
