Philadelphia Mills Dental Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to provide comprehensive oral healthcare to our valued patients. An essential member of our busy, paperless practice, you will work collaboratively with our dentist to assess oral health, perform preventive treatments, and empower patients through education on optimal oral hygiene. Title Dental hygienist Job Description Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and oral health evaluations. Administer dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing procedures. Take and interpret digital dental x-rays. Administer local anesthesia as needed. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventative care, and post-treatment instructions. Provide dental care patient counseling and health education. Collaborate effectively with the dentist and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient treatment plans. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records within a paperless system. Ensure all clinical procedures adhere to established dental standards and safety protocols. Salary Range full-time $50 - $55 per hour - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Shift & Schedule Monday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Sunday: Closed Requirements Basic life support Cardiopulmonary resuscitation Licensed dental hygienist X-ray / Radiography Certification Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Pennsylvania. Current CPR Certification. Proven experience in direct patient care and general dental hygiene procedures. Proficiency in taking digital dental x-rays and operating medical imaging equipment. Ability to administer local anesthesia. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, detail-oriented, and a team player. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, paperless environment. Preferences Experienced Dental Hygienist (2+ years) 2+ years of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
