2026 Summer Cost Engineer Internship - MA

Haugland Group, a privately-owned Long Island, New York-based civil infrastructure and energy construction company has an opportunity for a Cost Engineer Intern to join our team for the summer of 2026 in our New England Territory.

Key Functions:

• Assist project managers and engineers with daily project coordination tasks.
• Support jobsite operations including site inspections, progress tracking, and subcontractor oversight.
• Help prepare RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project logs.
• Track project schedules and assist with updating timelines and milestones.
• Contribute to quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and material procurement.
• Participate in safety meetings, site walkthroughs, and quality control activities.
• Collect jobsite photos, documentation, and reports for project records.
• Perform administrative and organizational tasks as needed to support successful project delivery.

Desired Qualifications:

• Pursing a degree in in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
