Healthcare Attorney

A leading national law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with approximately 3–5 years of experience to join its Chicago office. This opportunity is designed for attorneys who want to build a well rounded employment practice that combines sophisticated litigation with strategic client counseling. The practice advises employers on a broad range of workplace matters, including discrimination and harassment claims, wage and hour disputes, restrictive covenant issues, internal investigations, employment agreements, reductions in force, and complex employment litigation. Responsibilities Defend employers in state and federal employment litigation Draft motions, briefs, and other substantive legal filings Conduct witness interviews, discovery, and depositions Advise clients on day to day employment law issues and risk management strategies Assist with workplace investigations, policy development, and compliance initiatives Collaborate with clients to develop practical solutions to complex personnel challenges Qualifications 3–5 years of employment litigation experience Strong academic credentials and legal writing skills Excellent communication and client management abilities Admission to practice in Illinois required Traditional labor experience is beneficial but not required The anticipated compensation range for this position is approximately $260,000 to $350,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
