Express Employment Professionals-Farmingdale, NY is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations while working alongside the team. This player-coach role requires a leader who sets the standard through action, supports team development, and ensures safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse activities and work directly with the team on the warehouse floor.
- Supervise, train, and assign tasks to warehouse employees.
- Operate balers, conveyor systems, and other warehouse equipment.
- Ensure materials are processed efficiently and trucks are loaded safely and accurately.
- Manage bale inventory and tracking using warehouse software.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Promote productivity, accountability, and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Warehouse, manufacturing, recycling, or distribution experience required.
- Prior leadership or supervisory required 2-3 years.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment and managing inventory.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
You should be proficient in:
- Leadership / People Management
- Forklift Licensed
