Responsibilities: Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures for patients of all ages Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and cancer screenings Take and review dental X-rays (radiographs) in accordance with practice protocols Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive strategies Document accurate patient records and update medical/dental histories in the practice management system Collaborate with the dentist to develop individualized patient treatment plans Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride, sealants, and desensitizing agents as indicated Requirements: Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Wyoming or ability to obtain one Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program Current CPR/BLS certification Proficiency in digital radiography and dental practice management software Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dental team Experience in periodontal therapy and preventive dental care preferred Why work with us?
