As a Flight Clinician, you will be an integral member of our air medical team, providing advanced critical care, sound clinical judgment, and support to patients throughout every transport. A day in the life: Demonstrate Professionalism and Excellence in all things done when representing Apollo MedFlight Treat all people with courtesy and respect Deliver a level of care you would provide to your family for all patients served Practice Teamwork Be self-Motivated and willing to help wherever needed Exhibit a continuous display of Accountability, Reliability and Quality Daily Crew Duties (Peer Reviews, Daily Bag Checks, Narcotic Accountability, Hanger/ House Duties, Patient Follow Ups, Daily Crew Call) Both attendance and instruction of internal continuing education Public Relation Events Be familiar and comply with standing medical guidelines, policies, and procedures. Provide an environment conducive to safety for patients, families, employees, and other healthcare professionals. Aircraft include Fixed Wing & Rotor Wing platforms Sled, Stretcher Systems Monitoring Devices include but not limited to Zoll Monitors, Fetal Monitoring Systems, and glucometer Extra Capabilities include blood products, point of care labs, and Ultrasound Regional Capabilities include ballon pump, impella, and ECMO transports Trauma Equipment include but not limited to immobilization devices, hemorrhage control devices, etc. Respiratory support equipment utilized but not limited to: Hamilton T1 ventilators, H-900, BVMs, Oxygen delivery devices Medications include, but not limited to: Narcotics, ACLS medications, RSI medications, and other medications noted throughout the Standing Medical Guidelines & On-Line Medical Control Telephone/ Push to Talk Radios/ Aircraft Satellite Phone Computer bases systems utilized include EMS Charts, Baldwin Safety, Expensify Other items may not be listed but will be utilized when deemed necessary for safe patient transport Physical and Sensory Requirements: Ability to work in a confined and mobile critical care transport environment. Ability to communicate with patients, families, staff, physicians, support agencies, vendors, airport line staff, and others. Ability to remain calm during stressful situations. Ability to respond to phone calls quickly. Ability to evaluate and interpret information and make decisions as a critical care team. Ability to repeatedly twist, squat, stoop, bend, grasp, use fine hand coordination, push, and pull. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. independently and more with assistance. Exposure to infectious diseases, agents, and toxic chemicals. Ability to mix & administer medications, with correct knowledge of proper concentrations & dosages Minimum Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited paramedic school or state recognized paramedic program National Registry Paramedic Certification Must obtain certification in all states served by assigned base within 45 days of hire Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Paramedic in a high acuity setting including a busy 911 service Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS at hire, NRP certification within 3 months of hire and must maintain throughout employment Advanced trauma course (one of the following) within 6 months of hire ATLS Audit

ATCN, PHTLS, TNCC with advanced pathophysiology and skills lab FP-C or CCP-C is required within 2 years of employment Completion of NIMS 100 and 200, within one year of hire is required.
