Order Picker/forklift

Order Picker & Forklift Operator Needed in La Vergne 2nd Shift $20/hr!

The Warehouse TMO - Draft Loader position is responsible for stripping empty kegs from route trucks, organizing empty kegs by brand and size, picking draft orders, and loading all keg route trucks. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tow motor and other types of warehouse equipment.
• Perform and complete daily pre-trip safety inspections on tow motor.
• Unload returned empty kegs and pallets.
• Sort and organize empty kegs and pallets in the loading bay.
• Operate an iPad with Inventory Management Software (EasyOps).
• Pick orders within the draft cooler and load them onto draft routes.
• Report any draft product discrepancies, out of stocks, date issues, order picking issues, etc.
• Load package orders picked and staged by order selectors onto draft routes.
• Maintain proper cleanliness and organization in the loading bay and draft cooler.
• Load outbound trucks for next-day delivery.

Essential Skills

• Detail-oriented and ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in working with little oversight.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 155lbs kegs.
• Experience working in different temperature climates (36 degrees in cooler and ambient temp in loading bay).
• Sit down/standup tow motor experience required.
• Previous experience with RF scanner, order picking, shipping and receiving, and forklift operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous order selecting experience preferred.
• Experience on EPJ, Order Picker, and Reach Truck required.
• Comfortable with heights while picking in certain areas.

Work Environment

The work environment includes climate-controlled areas, although shipping and receiving areas may have open doors. The role involves working from Sunday 10:00am to EOS and Monday to Thursday from 3:00pm to EOS. Shift start times may be adjusted as the company continues to improve processes. The environment is dynamic and requires flexibility.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
