Travel CT Technologist - $2,146 per week

Overview American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift travel contract (3x12-hour shifts, 36 hrs/wk) in Laredo, Texas. Start date: May 18, 2026. Contract length: 13 weeks. One opening available. Responsibilities Conduct routine and advanced CT scanning procedures, including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and image-guided biopsy/drainage procedures. Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. Operate within a CT scanner department in a hospital setting, initially at the main facility before transitioning to a freestanding ED (FSED) 9-bed unit. Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including floating within the facility, call shifts, and block scheduling as required. Support studies with or without contrast media, following departmental protocols and under the direction of a radiologist. Wear navy blue scrubs; adhere to sterile/surgical procedures. Maintain RTO requests with a duration of less than one week. Requirements ARRT certification and CT registration required. MR/TMB (Texas Medical Board) license required if applicable. Current BLS certification required. Minimum of 2 years experience as a CT Technologist. Proficiency in CT scanning of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures. Knowledge of contrast media studies, cross-sectional anatomy, and sterile/surgical procedures. Minimum distance of 50 miles from the facility. No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months. Driver's license required for consideration. Certificates must not expire within the first 30 days of contract start date.
