Invasive Cardiac/Vascular Specialist IThe Invasive Cardiac/Vascular Specialist I provides technical assistance for selected diagnostic and interventional invasive procedures. Scrub assist for all diagnostic and interventional procedures, to include preparation and manipulation of catheters, guidewires and other devices. Injection of contrast media and medications from the sterile field as directed and supervised by the physician. Documentation of procedures and patient information according to hospital policy.Expected pay for this position is $36.39 - $47.63/hour. In addition, OSF HealthCare is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Education: Graduate of AMA Approved School in RadiographyLicensure/Certification: Registered in Radiology by ARRT((R)) Radiography License by Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) BLS CPR through the American Heart Association. ACLS from the American Heart Association or obtained within 6 months of hire.Other Skills/Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
