Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician Department: Warehouse Operations Reports to: Warehouse Operations Manager Location: Missoula, MT (On-Site) Job Summary: At Sun Mountain Sports, we build premium golf products that golfers trust on every round. The Quality Assurance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that every product leaving our facility meets the highest standards of craftsmanship, performance, and customer satisfaction. The wage range for this position is $24-$29/hour. This position is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, monitoring product quality throughout warehouse operations, and verifying that finished goods meet Sun Mountain's expectations before shipment. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities: Inspect incoming products, components, and materials for quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards. Perform detailed quality checks on golf bags, carts, outerwear, and other Sun Mountain products before shipment. Identify, document, and report product defects, inconsistencies, or damage. Verify product labeling, packaging, and order accuracy. Maintain quality records and inspection documentation. Work closely with assembly, transport, inventory, and shipping teams to resolve quality issues. Support root-cause investigations and corrective action processes. Ensure warehouse organization and cleanliness standards are maintained. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory counts, and other warehouse duties as needed. Required Skills/Abilities: Previous warehouse, quality assurance, manufacturing, or inspection experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies. Ability to follow written procedures and quality standards. Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Education and Experience: Quality Technician certification (or equivalent certification) or minimum of 3 years' experience in quality assurance, quality control or manufacturing operations. High school diploma or equivalent preferred Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move products throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
