Empower Communication and Connection in Fort Worth – Become a Speech Language Pathologist With Us
Imagine stepping into a role where your career not only advances but resonates with purpose. As a Speech Language Pathologist in the vibrant city of Fort Worth, your contributions will extend far beyond addressing communication and swallowing challenges. You will ignite potential in individuals from children experiencing their first words to seniors regaining confidence and independence.
This position offers a remarkable chance to impact diverse age groups in a setting combining outpatient therapy along with occasional inpatient support. Whether your passion lies in pediatric speech development, aiding adults with neurogenic communication issues, or providing rehabilitation for geriatric patients, you'll discover both satisfaction and flexibility in your day-to-day role.
Conduct assessments across pediatric, adult, and senior demographics utilizing standardized evaluation tools and observations.
Create individualized treatment approaches targeting immediate goals alongside lasting communication, cognitive skills, or swallowing needs.
Deliver targeted speech therapy interventions emphasizing language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members, to ensure comprehensive care planning.
Provide educational resources to patients and their families for continued progress beyond therapy sessions.
Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, maintaining a seamless continuum of care throughout rehabilitation journeys.
Uphold meticulous documentation in alignment with state, federal, and institutional requirements.
Commit to ongoing education and peer collaboration to remain at the forefront of the field.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university.
Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
Expertise in evidence-based therapy practices across all ages, with a profound understanding of both developmental and acquired speech disorders.
Outstanding communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Adept at customizing therapy techniques to suit varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Exceptional clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
Familiar with electronic medical records and documentation protocols.
Attractive compensation based on experience.
Flexible scheduling options that support work-life harmony and diverse caseloads.
Opportunities to specialize in pediatric, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatric care.
Paid time off (PTO) and holiday remuneration.
Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance selections available.
Support for continuing education reimbursement and professional growth initiatives.
A collaborative, team-oriented environment dedicated to excellence in care and continuous learning.
In this role, you will do much more than deliver speech therapy — you will become a vital part of a mission aimed at restoring voices, enhancing communication, and creating joyful moments through the simple yet profound act of understanding one another.
Joining a team that treats each member as family fosters a spirit of cooperation over competition. Every patient brings a unique story, and we trust you to help shape that narrative.
