Periodontist Opportunity

We are seeking a patient-focused Periodontist to be responsible for gum related treatments and procedures. The responsibilities of a Periodontist include performing surgical procedures, diagnosing and treating conditions, and establishing treatment programs to monitor oral health.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform comprehensive oral examinations to make full-mouth assessments of the patients’ oral condition, develop treatment plans based on findings, and then communicate suggested treatment options to patients in terms they can understand.
• Understand and appreciate patient concerns and challenges, and help each patient balance their unique circumstances with the best treatments and outcomes for their overall oral health and happiness.
• Provide implants and perform cosmetic surgical procedures.
• Diagnose and treat conditions.
• Provide preventative treatment.
• Resolve gum issues such as gum sensitivity.

Periodontist Requirements:

• Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Medical Practice.
• License to practice as a Periodontist.
• Additional experience, certifications, or licensing may be required.
• Strong computer skills and experience with healthcare databases and applications.
• Willingness to comply with local, state and federal laws regarding dental and health care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to keep detailed records.
• Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools and diagnostics.
• Good management skills.
