Inspector Packer - 3rd shift

Inspector Packer I Location: Forest City, NC Rate: $20.34/hr plus $0.44 shift differential. Shift: 3rd shift – 11pm to 7am. Responsibilities Inspect and package all finished goods. Use basic knowledge and behavioral observation skills to identify safety concerns. Detect visual and physical defects in finished products before packaging. Maintain production data (scrap cause records, work order detail). Perform lifting, walking, stooping, bending, and leg and arm movement as required. Alert technicians to quality or machine issues. Use manual pallet jacks to move materials occasionally. Be a self‑motivated individual who can multi‑task in a fast‑paced production setting. Maintain cleanliness of the area and follow good housekeeping procedures. Perform all duties in a manner that demonstrates the highest level of safety and quality. Be reliable, have good initiative, be committed, and be quality focused. Work quickly while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention. Show flexibility to cover overtime and weekend work when necessary. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications History of excellent attendance. Ability to work with various teams. Proven record of success in fast‑paced environments. Hands‑on and analytical abilities, organization skills, and attention to detail. Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
