Inventory Management Specialist

Inventory Management SpecialistWe are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Inventory Management specialist responsible for using their knowledge of warehouse operations, material movements and system transactional knowledge to help our company maintain inventory management from a physical and virtual level, for complete accuracy and ensure compliance with internal processes.Their duties include reviewing and revising warehouse operations processes, researching and resolving inventory discrepancies with warehouse teams, coordinating with the 3PLs for inventory support, transactional remediation and overall inventory and shipment accuracy, as well as providing training to company employees on how to use the software effectively, and providing troubleshooting support, as needed.Role and ResponsibilitiesSupport warehouse management, on process performance and provide issue resolution documentation for re-occurring virtual processes.Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepanciesUtilize inventory management software to track product information such as quantities, batch numbers, and expiration datesSupports 3PL's, for inventory accuracy, transfer and shipment precision, and issue mitigation and resolutionExecutes strategies to minimize costs, optimize efficiency, and reduce wastePrepare inventory reports and present to managementAddress inventory related issues and concerns in a timely mannerAssist warehouse with inbound and outbound processes to ensure proper inventory managementReviews system bin and area maintenance, for overall physical and virtual inventory alignment and accuracy.Preferred Qualifications and Education RequirementsExperience in a Manufacturing operations or supply chain environment, preferably in materials management.Minimum 1 years of experience working with Manufacturing ERP's – preferably (Syspro, SAP)Experience resolving discrepancies within multiple 3PL warehouses is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectivelySOP development and training coordination experience preferred.Reliable and trustworthyKey CompetenciesA knowledge of Syspro ERP and Translution WMS is a plusProficient in data analysis, reporting tools, and visualization techniquesExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teamsPossess strong problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWork Environment and Physical RequirementsThe work environment alternates between a cold production setting with concrete floors and an office. This position requires the team member to:Sit for an extended period at a computer.Stand and walk through the production floor and endure cold temperatures (38 degrees) Cooler/ (-10 degrees) FreezerMust occasionally lift/move up to 40 lbs.Food Safety Kilcoy has adopted the SQF System for food safety management and is under continuous USDA meat & poultry jurisdiction.
