A host is responsible for the following duties and tasks: Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner Engaging with guests who call with questions Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion Rolling silverware and cleaning menus Managing restaurant wait list to ensure guests' expectations of the wait are met Sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return Light cleaning Requirements Requirements: Minimum of 6 months ofguest service,food service experience preferred Able tospeak, read and understandEnglish Demonstrated ability to interact withguests andfellow team membersin a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner Able to communicate well Able to work well under pressure and with a sense of urgency to meet deadline Able to effectively problem solve and analyze information Able to lift up to 20 lbs. as needed Able to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time Able to have continuous use of hands and arms; continous bending, reaching and twisting #J-18808-Ljbffr
