Registered Nurse (RN) - Mother Baby

Join a team dedicated to providing exceptional care in the Mother Baby Unit. We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with experience in mother-baby care to support our patients during their postpartum recovery.

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 34 private couplet rooms
Staff Size: 78
Patient Ratios: 1:3-4 couplets
Type of Equipment: Alaris pumps, Bilirubin blankets/lights
EMR: Cerner

Qualifications

Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Mother Baby care
Must Have:
- Mother Baby experience
Preferred Skills:
- Travel experience
- Caring for patients on Magnesium Sulfate post delivery
- STABLE certification

Responsibilities

Administer medication and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and assess maternal and infant health
Educate parents on newborn care and postpartum recovery
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Perform circumcisions as needed

Work Environment

Dress Code: Scrub Attire - Navy Blue/White
Weekends: Required
Floating Areas: May assist in Labor & Delivery and NICU as needed
