PHYSICIAN OB-GYN SCHEDULE

PHYSICIAN OB-GYN POSITION SUMMARY
\nProvides comprehensive healthcare management including treatment to female patients
\nPHYSICIAN OB-GYN ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
\n- \n
- Obtain medical histories and conduct medical assessments and clinical exams with a focus on obstetrics and gynecology \n
- Perform and/or order appropriate diagnostic tests to diagnose disorders and provide treatment. \n
- Prescribe appropriate medications. \n
- Educate patients about disease, disease prevention, and recommend medications or management. \n
- Collaborate with the healthcare team. \n
- Provide antenatal and post-partum medical care during pregnancy and childbirth. \n
- Good clinical knowledge base and familiarity with evidence-based practices. \n
- Follows relevant medical policies and procedures

PHYSICIAN OB-GYN REQUIREMENTS
\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n- \n
- Graduate of an accredited medical school \n
- Fully licensed as a doctor of medicine to practice medicine in Mississippi \n
- Board certified obstetrician-gynecologist \n
- The medical license shall have no restrictions and prior action by the medical licensing authority shall be disclosed \n
- Current Controlled Drug Substance license and DEA license \n
