We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Support professional to manage documentation related to customer returns, quality requirements, and production processes. This role will primarily support Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), Travelers, and controlled manufacturing documentation. Temp to hire, Located in Moorpark, CA Offering $30-35/hr.
Responsibilities
- Create, review, release, track, and close RMAs.
- Create and maintain Travelers in accordance with customer and internal requirements.
- Review customer specifications, quality clauses, purchase orders, and other requirements.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, properly approved, and current.
- Maintain document control and ensure the correct revisions are used.
- Coordinate with Quality, Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, and other departments.
- Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies or escalate issues when clarification is needed.
- Maintain accurate records and support compliance with customer and quality requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret technical, customer, and quality documentation.
- Strong communication and follow-through skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in document control, quality, manufacturing, production control, or a related role preferred.
- Experience with RMAs, Travelers, routers, work instructions, ERP/MRP, or ISO-controlled environments is a plus.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
