Job Title: PCU RN for Float Pool Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: Full-Time Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar-sized facility License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Experience with cardiac population, ability to float to all related units Description: This position requires a registered nurse who will float to all PCU/IMCU floors with a cardiac population. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:3-4. Experience with STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain is essential. Knowledge of cardiac drips, including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors, is necessary. There may be assignments to telemetry beds in the same unit with lower acuity levels. Familiarity with EPIC EMR is preferred. Minimal requests for time off will be considered.
