Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Class A CDL Professional Driver, specializing in regional and over-the-road (OTR) routes. This exciting role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of tractor-trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers, while delivering freight across diverse locations. You’ll be the face of our company on the road, ensuring safe, timely deliveries while adhering to all DOT, FMCSA, and hazardous materials regulations.

Compensation

• Pay Rate: Up to $0.80 per mile , rewarding your expertise and dedication on every route.

Duties

• Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual or automatic transmissions on regional and OTR routes, ensuring compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload freight such as refrigerated goods, hazardous materials, or specialty cargo like flatbed or tanker loads using manual handling techniques.
• Use GPS navigation systems to plan efficient routes and navigate unfamiliar roads confidently.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo documentation in accordance with federal regulations.
• Deliver freight promptly to various destinations while providing excellent customer service during pickup and delivery processes.
• Handle logistics cargo efficiently, including loading and unloading freight safely and securely at each stop.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Licensing & Certification: Must hold a valid Class A CDL and a current, up-to-date Medical Examiner’s Certificate .
• Driving Record: Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) report, alongside a proven driving record in delivery driving.
• Screening & Compliance: Must pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen and a full FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse query (Drug and Alcohol Policy).
• Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and hazardous materials handling regulations, strong knowledge of FMCSA/DOT rules, and safety protocols for dangerous goods.
• Operational Skills: Skilled in using GPS navigation tools, capable of manual freight handling during loading/unloading, and proficient in driving both manual and automatic transmission commercial trucks.
