Retail Sales Associate

We’re hiring a full‑time Verizon Retail Sales Associate. This role offers opportunities for growth and earnings beyond a typical entry‑level position. Responsibilities Generate retail sales using passion for technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network. Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions. Present product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top‑down sales solution. Close sales using strong communication skills to meet customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions. Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up‑skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory. Expand customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers interested in our products and services. Engage with the community outside of the store, including at off‑site Verizon sponsored events. Compensation Base pay: $16.00 to $21.00 per hour (varies by geography and performance). Potential commission: up to $18,000 a year in individual‑based commissions, with top performers able to earn an additional $14,500 or more, resulting in a total annual earning range of $65,000 – $75,500+. One or more years of relevant experience (work or military). Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule four weeks in advance). Availability to pick up additional shifts, especially during summer, November–December, and peak vacation periods. Preferred Experience in a commission‑based environment. Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions. Customer service experience. Hours 40 hours per week. Location Worksite‑based role – onsite at a defined location(s).
