Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical Telemetry IMC unit is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients requiring intermediate care, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients with complex medical conditions, including respiratory failure and other acute issues.
• Administer medications and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Utilize advanced monitoring equipment, including Ventilators, BiPaP, and telemetry systems.
• Float to med/surg units as needed based on patient care requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in IMC or similar settings.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with tracheostomy care and telemetry interpretation.
