Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

seeking a driven, outgoing, highly organized, and professional Inside Sales Representative to manage customer accounts and sell floral and grower products, including enclosure cards, envelopes, computer forms, and plastic plant stake tags.

The successful candidate will handle customer communications, order entry, pricing, cost analysis, problem resolution, and production scheduling support. This role offers hands-on exposure to multiple aspects of a manufacturing environment and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain customer accounts while building strong customer relationships.
• Sell floral and grower products, including enclosure cards, envelopes, computer forms, and plastic stake tags for plants.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with product design; no specialized design software skills are required.
• Develop pricing, pricing strategies, and cost analyses.
• Resolve customer issues and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Assist with production scheduling at manufacturing facilities.
• Communicate regularly with internal and external customers through phone calls and written correspondence.
• Learn manufacturing machine capabilities and understand production requirements.
• Work with pricing, accounting, and numerical calculations, including decimals and fractions.
• Maintain accuracy and organization while managing multiple responsibilities.
• Collaborate with team members while working independently when required.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong sales experience preferred.
• Outgoing personality with a driven and customer-focused attitude.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and precise.
• Professional telephone communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Comfort working with numbers, pricing, decimals, and fractions.
• Ability and willingness to learn manufacturing processes and machine capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree preferred, particularly in Business or Accounting.
• Experience developing pricing strategies and performing cost analysis.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with AS400 systems is helpful.
• Experience in inside sales, customer account management, or a manufacturing environment.
