Applicants need to possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities to be considered:Must maintain excellent attendance reliabilityFamiliarity and experience with motors, drives, contacts, relays, timers, PLC's, PC's.Corrugated equipment maintenance experience or related heavy industrial maintenance experienceAbility to perform electrical and mechanical work as necessaryTechnical understanding and skills with a focus on safetyAbility to read and understand wiring schematics, machine manuals, mechanical drawings and blueprintsKnowledge of preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinesUnderstanding of control circuits, hydraulics and pneumaticsAbility to remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of partsWilling to work a night shift (11pm-7am)Willing to work mandatory overtime and weekends, as neededEnsure compliance with all Safety and Quality standards, processes, proceduresWillingness to take initiative, learn new skills and help team membersGeneral computer skills such as the ability to navigate through program screensStrong reasoning and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and understand production specificationsAwareness of OSHA standards for electrical safetyEDUCATIONCorrugating and manufacturing experience, a plusAssociate's degree or higher in Industrial Maintenance, Machining, or a related field preferredDemonstrated advanced training or certification in the maintenance mechanical/electrical industryLean manufacturing knowledge, especially 5SCandidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
