What You’ll Do:
- Greet and assist customers in person and by phone
- Support billing, payments, and accounts receivable
- Keep records accurate and office operations running smoothly
- Blumont Energy has been family owned and operated for almost 100 years and is proudly headquartered in Martinsville, VA.
- We’re a trusted regional provider of propane, heating oil, gasoline, and diesel, serving residential, commercial, and industrial clients across Central Virginia.

- As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the welcoming face and friendly voice of Blumont Energy, providing support and solutions to customers while keeping our office operations running smoothly.
- You will greet and assist customers in person and by phone, handling inquiries, payments, and service requests with professionalism and care.
- You will support our accounting processes by posting payments, reviewing accounts receivable, resolving discrepancies, and helping minimize losses on accounts.
- You will process and review service paperwork, ensuring accuracy and timeliness so field teams can deliver seamless service.
- You will prepare service agreements, maintain customer records, and handle clerical responsibilities such as filing, mailing, and updating account information.
- You will serve as a vital link between our customers, service teams, and management, ensuring communication flows clearly and issues are addressed promptly.
- You will promote our services and products, projecting a positive attitude that builds trust and long-term relationships with our customers.
- You will bring a high school diploma or equivalent, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You will have good computer skills and the ability to access, update, and manage customer information in a digital environment.
- You will bring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with both customers and coworkers.
- You will demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, and organization in handling financial and customer records.
- You will thrive in a team-oriented environment, taking initiative and handling responsibilities with limited supervision.
- You will bring a customer-first mindset, ensuring every interaction reflects respect, trust, and service excellence.
