Whether they're grabbing a quick lunch, a side dish, a fast food option for dinner, or feeding a crowd, our deli has them covered.Job DescriptionWhat You'll Do:As a Deli Clerk at Festival Foods, your responsibilities will include:Provide Helpful Service: Providing excellent guest service is at the heart of what we do. Whether it's a friendly greeting, answering questions or addressing guest concerns, you'll handle each interaction with professionalism and care. Your willingness to help guests with what they need will make a positive impact every day.Guest Assistance: Help guests locate items on or off the sales floor and professionally answer the Deli Department telephone.Order Fulfillment: Receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and special requests with attention to detail and quality.Customer Service: Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly using the boomerang principle to ensure a positive experience.Quality Control: Inspect, rotate, maintain proper temperatures, and replenish all deli products on display to ensure high standards.Inventory Management: Maintain proper inventory levels in the deli storage, including containers, lids, spoons, tags, and more.Food Safety: Lead by example in maintaining food safety logs and adhering to all safety standards.Efficiency: Ensure all quality standards, including quantity expectations, are met by 10 am and 5 pm daily.Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absencesSupport the Team: Other duties as assignedWhat We're Looking For:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
