About This Role  

Kenect is seeking a Content Marketing leader to own our content strategy, SEO, and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). As buyers increasingly begin their research inside AI-powered tools, not just traditional search engines, this role will help determine whether Kenect shows up as a trusted answer when dealers are researching their challenges and evaluating solutions. 

You will own the content engine that the rest of Marketing depends on, from Kenect's website and organic search presence to the campaigns, webinars, thought leadership, and sales enablement materials that support Paid Media, Demand Generation, Events, and Sales. You'll build a content strategy that strengthens our visibility, creates demand, and helps move prospects through the buyer journey. 

This role also has meaningful ownership of product positioning and messaging, helping define how we talk about our products, communicate their value, and differentiate Kenect in the market. You'll partner across Marketing, Product, and Sales to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling stories that resonate with dealers. 

This is as much a strategy role as it is a content production role. You won't simply manage a content calendar, you'll shape how Kenect is discovered, understood, and represented across traditional search, AI-driven discovery, campaigns, and the broader market. 

What You Will Be Doing

• Own Kenect's organic acquisition strategy across SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), increasing our visibility in both traditional search and AI-powered discovery. 
• Build and execute the content program across blogs, case studies, thought leadership, and other high-value content, with clear measurement around engagement, demand, and contribution to pipeline. 
• Own website messaging and copy, partnering with our digital team on site structure, content updates, optimization, and implementation. 
• Build and maintain a strong sales enablement library, including one-pagers, competitive materials, and the resources Sales needs most to support customer conversations and move opportunities forward. 
• Partner with Product on launches, positioning, and messaging, translating product capabilities into compelling customer value and developing competitive battlecards that help our teams clearly differentiate Kenect. 
• Connect content to business results. Look beyond traffic and engagement metrics to understand what content is influencing discovery, generating demand, supporting Sales, and ultimately contributing to pipeline. 

Skills & Qualifications  

• 5+ years of B2B content marketing experience, including meaningful ownership of SEO strategy and organic performance - not simply managing a publishing calendar. 
• Hands-on experience with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and AI/LLM visibility, or a strong understanding of how you would build a strategy to improve how a brand is discovered and represented within AI-powered search. 
• An exceptional writer and an even stronger editor, with the ability to elevate content you didn't create and maintain a clear, consistent brand voice across teams and channels. 
• Strong knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals, including site structure, schema, page performance, and other factors that influence organic visibility, even if you aren't the person implementing every technical change. 
• The ability to write for a practical, results-focused audience. Dealership owners, general managers, and operators value clarity and substance, so you know how to communicate value without relying on unnecessary marketing language. 
• A balance of strategy and execution. You can set the direction for a content and organic strategy while still being comfortable rolling up your sleeves to write, edit, optimize, and get the work across the finish line.
