SAP EWM Consultant

Location - Chester Ridge, NJ - Onsite- 2/3 Days a Week

We are seeking a skilled SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant to design, implement, and support SAP EWM solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in warehouse management processes, SAP logistics modules, and hands-on configuration experience in EWM.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business warehouse processes and translate requirements into SAP EWM solutions
• Configure and implement SAP EWM functionalities (Inbound, Outbound, Internal Warehouse Processes)
• Work on integration between SAP EWM and other modules (MM, SD, PP, TM)
• Design warehouse structures (Storage Types, Sections, Bins, Work Centers)
• Set up and manage processes such as:
• Goods Receipt & Putaway
• Picking, Packing, and Shipping
• Replenishment strategies
• Physical Inventory
• Lead or support SAP EWM implementations and rollouts
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Perform system testing, UAT support, and documentation
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams (ABAP, Basis, Integration)
• Provide end-user training and post-go-live support

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field
• 7 to 8 + years of SAP experience (with at least 4–5 years in SAP EWM)
• Strong expertise in:
• SAP EWM Configuration
• Warehouse Process Types, Storage Control
• RF Framework and Mobile Data Entry
• Dispensing activities and weighing machine integration to SAP.
• Experience in EWM integration with SAP ECC or S/4HANA
• Knowledge of CIF, RFC, and SAP integration concepts
• Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding on SAP integration with other software ex. LIMS.
