Individualized Nursing Care

Plans, provides, and monitors individualized nursing care in response to specific patient needs within a defined scope of practice, following established policies, procedures, and regulations. Supports a defined population program or service. Reports to departmental management. Provides developmentally appropriate, high acuity psychosocial and clinical care respective to the assigned patient population. Demonstrates excellence in nursing practice characterized by quality patient care and participation in formal and informal patient and staff education. Communicates and collaborates effectively with all members of the healthcare team. Performs other duties as assigned.
