The facility operates as an outpatient addiction medicine clinic delivering MAT-focused primary care services to an adult patient population. Clinical workflows are structured to support medication-assisted treatment, including intakes, dose adjustments, and routine wellness visits. The clinic maintains established protocols to accommodate locum tenens coverage on an on-site basis.

The assignment is located 1 hr from Newport, RI. This area offers a broad range of regional attractions and recreational activities. Clinicians on assignment will find access to outdoor recreation, cultural landmarks, waterfront activities, and diverse dining and entertainment options. The area supports varied interests and provides accessible amenities during time away from the assignment.

Clinicians will provide outpatient medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services to an adult patient population at an on-site clinic, working Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM on a day shift schedule. The expected caseload is 8-15 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing MAT intakes, dose adjustments, and annual physicals. No call coverage is required for this assignment. Prescriptive authority is required, a state NP license is required, and board certification is negotiable.
