divh2Inventory Control Specialist/h2pThe Inventory Control Specialist maintains and promotes accuracy of retail store inventory by working and reviewing various inventory reports, conducting on demand inventory audits and communicating results with store management. This multi-function role partners with the sales floor, receiving teams and retail leadership in order to maintain inventory accuracy, promote replenishment and sales while mitigating merchandise loss and shrink for the organization. This position provides customer service support throughout the store. They perform various selling/customer service activities, to include greeting and acknowledging all customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, providing information, assistance and direction to customers./ppEssential Functions:/pulliMaintains inventory integrity and accuracy by executing on demand and prescriptive inventory cycle counts./liliConducts empty peg and display integrity scans within the departments and completes appropriate inventory adjustments to maintain in stocks and replenishment./liliInvestigates and reconciles all inventory variance reports including but not limited to negative on hand review, aged in transit, purchase order discrepancies, etc./liliReviews and distributes price change reports to department leadership. Completes inventory review and adjustments based on returned reports as needed./liliCommunicates opportunities / issues / discrepancies with Store Leadership for review and resolution./liliProvides a legendary experience for every customer, every time by assisting customers in making buying decisions by:/liulliIdentifying and evaluating customers needs,/liliMaking product recommendations based off of this analysis, promoting programs including, but not limited to CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up/li/ulliAll other duties as assigned/li/ulpExperience/Qualifications:/pulliMinimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent/liliYears of experience: Two/li/ulpKnowledge, Skills, and Ability:/pulliAbility to use System Two, RF/Gizmo devices and DOMO reporting./liliAbility to generate and analyze inventory reporting./liliAbility to process and organize information./liliAbility to write reports and effectively present information from findings to management./liliAbility to communicate with retail sales floor outfitters and leadership on price changes and inventory accuracy./li/ulpTravel Requirements:/pulliN/A/li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliAbility to use ladders and/or lifts/liliRegular computer work, walking, sitting, and standing./liliOccasional lifting up to 50 lbs./li/ulpIndependent Judgement:/pulliPerforms duties within scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives.
