MRI Technologist, Weekend Team - Full Time

Under the supervision of the Department Manager, Radiology Director, MRI Team Leader and/or the radiologist(s), performs a variety of procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative in utilization of MRI equipment to create high quality diagnostic images. The employee will also perform other department job duties as assigned.

Education: Required: A graduate of an ARRT approved radiologic technology program, or equivalent program. Reference: (compliant with all continuing education mandates). ARRT (R) Certified, or ARMRIT Preferred: N/A

Experience: Required: Medical and/or hospital clinical experience Basic computer experience (1-2 years' work experience or college level classes) Prior experience in MRI or an intensive on the job training session in MRI is required before taking call Preferred: Prior hospital and/or physician office background

Position Requirement(s): License/Certification/Registration Required: ARRT, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance (ARMRIT Certified) compliant with all continuing education mandates. BLS completed prior to going to the unit/department and maintained going forward. Preferred: ARRT (MR) Certified or ARMRIT Certified CPR certified.
